Kelly Wemple, AIA

Associate / Architect

Kelly Wemple’s attention to detail and proficiency in design software programs has made her an instrumental member of the Humphries Poli Architects team.  Kelly believes that architecture should be sustainable, contextual, and, most importantly, functional. Her favorite aspect of architecture is being able to contribute to the fabric of the urban landscape as it evolves over time.

Through Kelly’s personal travels and work experience she developed an appreciation for historic buildings. She believes that successful communities should be comprised of a balance of both old and new structures. This interest drove her graduate studies at the University of Colorado where she received a Masters in both Architecture and the Science of Historic Preservation. She was the first person to receive the Historic Preservation Exemplary Student Award at CU and has contributed her knowledge to many Historic Structure Assessments and preservation projects at HPA.
