Associate / Business Manager
Rick Getz joined Humphries Poli Architects in early 2008 and immediately had a positive impact on the management of the firm. He transformed many of the firms accounting and management processes which resulted in increased functional efficiency while using his organizational management and effective staff leadership skills to improve the firm overall. As a result, he was made an Associate of the firm in 2009. Additionally, Rick doesn’t just manage the business side of the firm; he is also an integral part of the project management team, handling project administration.
Prior to earning his Masters Degree, Rick was the business manager at a top industrial design firm in Palo Alto, CA. He played a similar role with that firm and in his six years there gained valuable experience in managing design projects.
